The Story Behind Our Studio

Crochet began for me as a quiet refuge. Over a decade ago, I picked up a simple metal hook and a single ball of yarn. Like nearly every beginner, my first square looked like a lopsided triangle, my stitch counts never matched, and cryptic abbreviation charts left me in tears of frustration.

Together with founder and publisher Abdessamad Oujdid, we established CrochetEva with a singular mission: to strip away the intimidating gatekeeping in traditional craft publishing and replace it with warm, empowering, step-by-step masterclasses where every maker feels capable and celebrated.
